Join an intensive three‐week programme of coursework, lectures, laboratory exercisesandexcitingnon‐academicactivitiesinvibrantcityYokohama.

In this summer school students will attend the lectures given by world‐leading experts in Civil Engineering, Structural Dynamics and Control, and Smart Structures Technology; and will participate in exciting laboratory projects where they will learn about

fundamental and practical use of sensing principles and technologies for monitoring infrastructure.

The programme is opened for students currently enrolled in a civil engineering or relatedgraduateprogramme,andpost‐doctoralresearchers.

The registration fee is probably around 50,000 yen or approx. 500US$ that includes attendance to the 13th International Workshop on Advanced Smart Materials and Smart Structures Technology (ANCRiSST2017), which will be taking place at the UniversityofTokyofrom22^nd to23^rd July2017.

Accommodation:

Accommodation during three‐weeks stay at Yokohama is prepared for all participants. Three residences with easy access to campus as well as Yokohama city centerare provided to ensure convenience during the stay. The cost of stay will be 4,500‐5,500 yen per day, depending on the type of rooms. Cost of accommodation is not included intheregistrationfee.
